Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD)

The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) offers services to individuals with the following disabilities

  • People severely impaired by autism
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Spina bifida
  • Intellectual disabilities
  • Down syndrome
  • Prader-Willi syndrome
  • Phelan-McDermid syndrome
  • Children age 3-5 who are at a high risk of a developmental disability

If you are a client of APD already, these are services that are available under the waiver program:

  • Behavior Analysis
  • Behavior Assistant
  • Life Skills Development 1- Companion
  • Life Skills Development 2 – Supported Employment
  • Life Skills Development 3 – Adult Day Training
  • Therapies: Dietician, Occupational, Speech, Physical, Respiratory, Specialized Mental Health Counseling over the age of 21
  • Environmental Accessibility Adaptations
  • Durable Medical Equipment
  • Consumable Medical Supplies over the age of 21
  • Personal Supports over the age of 21
  • Supported Living Coaching
  • Support Coordination
  • Transportation
  • Nursing over the age of 21
  • Residential Habilitation
  • Respite under the age of 21
  • Personal Emergency Response Systems
