Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD)
The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) offers services to individuals with the following disabilities
- People severely impaired by autism
- Cerebral palsy
- Spina bifida
- Intellectual disabilities
- Down syndrome
- Prader-Willi syndrome
- Phelan-McDermid syndrome
- Children age 3-5 who are at a high risk of a developmental disability
If you are a client of APD already, these are services that are available under the waiver program:
- Behavior Analysis
- Behavior Assistant
- Life Skills Development 1- Companion
- Life Skills Development 2 – Supported Employment
- Life Skills Development 3 – Adult Day Training
- Therapies: Dietician, Occupational, Speech, Physical, Respiratory, Specialized Mental Health Counseling over the age of 21
- Environmental Accessibility Adaptations
- Durable Medical Equipment
- Consumable Medical Supplies over the age of 21
- Personal Supports over the age of 21
- Supported Living Coaching
- Support Coordination
- Transportation
- Nursing over the age of 21
- Residential Habilitation
- Respite under the age of 21
- Personal Emergency Response Systems
